The State of Sci Fi: 9/18/16
Wasn't very surprised to learn comic book distribution and sales are at a 20 year high. Superheroes kicking ass at the box office has a lot to do with that, and I'm not complaining one bit about it.
A couple of awesome Rogue One international movie posters were released a few days ago. I'm definitely going to see this film and it's going to be good. Will it be really good? Will it be great? Those are much tougher questions.
Margot Robbie struck a deal or two with Warner Bros., most interestingly, for a Harley Quinn spin-off. Suicide Squad was great, her rendition of Harley Quinn was pretty darn exceptional, and I will gladly pay money to see that Harley Quinn film in theatres.
Disney and TBS struck a deal of their own, giving Turmer the broadcasting rights to 11 Star Wars titles.
Magic the Gathering's Kaladesh block debuts 9/30, and HBO's Westworld shortly afterward on 10/2.
In Dawn of Legaia news, final revisions are going great, cover art design is looking very promising, and 11/11/16 will be here before we know it. Exciting times are ahead of us.
